A Japanese team said Thursday it had developed the first television system in the world able to offer the user a tactile experience on the projected 3D.

The scientist Norio Nakamura, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, announced to AFP by telephone that the technology used to manipulate a 3D image using cameras that detect and analyze real-time movement of the fingers on the projection and transform accordingly, thus reproducing the sensation of touch.
"You can have tactile sensations as if you hit a rubber ball or tiriez on a ball of sticky rice."
No information yet on the dates for the implementation of this technology television Touch 3D.
The first applications could be intended for surgical assistance through 3D modeling, immersion not commonplace in future games or visits to museums to interact with reproductions of original 3D models comfortably exposed at the other end of the world .
