Apple is poised to launch in fall 2009, a large format iPod Touch.
The iPod Touch is equipped with a screen of 7 to 9 inches, and is close to the stage of industrialization.
Apple has repeatedly considered the touch pads in the past, but nothing had yet been launched. The situation changed in July 2008, with the success of the iTunes App Store and its 300 million applications that were downloaded.
This success, linked with the technical criteria of the device (large touch screen + accelerometer) has given ideas to Apple.
