A touch screen that supports 20 fingers

The SID 2010 (Society For Information Display) has widely acclaimed the advent of touch screens, or in the professional field for the general public.

3M Solutions presents its latest innovation: the M2256PW, a 22-inch touch screen capable of handling multitouch in 20 different points simultaneously.

With a resolution of 1680 x 1050, the LCD has a brightness of 260 cd / m², a contrast of 000:1 and a viewing angle of 170 °. The response time of the touch screen is less than 6 ms, it offers a display of 16.5 million and has all the legacy ports (VGA, HDMI).

The device is relatively light, the more weight (8.4 kg) than price (1500 €). However, the main innovation of this model for the management of 20 control points simultaneously.

Reactivity seems quite remarkable at first glance, it seems clear that this touch screen is dedicated to professional applications requiring the coordinated action of several people.
